Ceremonial Zulu Spear

A ceremonial version of a Zulu Spear used by Zulu Warriors in the KwaZulu-Natal Region of South Africa. This spear is wonderfully detailed with springbok hide grip and end piece. The shaft features a brilliant hand beaded decorative piece in traditional Zulu style.

The Zulu Spear is all hand made from the hand beaten metal tip to the beaded shaft. Because these are hand made one at a time no two are exactly alike, making each one unique and valuable.

These Zulu spears are sold in gift or curio shops all over South Africa. Although this type of spear is only a replica of a ceremonial type, and would not be used by a real Zulu Warrior, it makes a excellent decorative piece for an office or den.
